WE'RE LAUNCHING A NEW THING!

Last week I thought I would mix up my running routes. So I got in the car, packed it with running gear and drove for nearly an hour to somewhere a bit more idyllic and undulating (gotta get that hill training in).

Upon arrival, to my dismay, I realised I had only brought along my left running shoe. Short of hopping the track or running it in Birkenstocks, it was time to turn around and head home. Hill sprints would have to wait.What’s the point in this story?

Well, it’s that when you’re a relatively active individual, things don’t always go to plan. 

Now. All of us at SOS would much prefer that our community maintain healthy feet (quick plug: hence preventative products like the Atacama Shoe Dryer). But accidents happen and if you’re out on the mean streets racking up Strava miles then eventually you’ll do yourself - and your feet - a mischief. 

That’s why we’re launching an online podiatry clinic for runners, everyday athletes and anyone else who moves their feet a lot.

After wrestling with the task of advocating for more consideration of foot health within the running community, it dawned on us that we need to start offering help to those that suffer setbacks, if we’re to achieve our mission to help all everyday athletes look after their bodies from the ground up.

We’ve teamed up with some expert, professionally-certified podiatrists to offer one-on-one, personalised online consultations to whoever needs them. 

Each session is 30 minutes long, and afterwards you’ll get a personalised plan and follow-up support to minimise the impact on your training and getting your feet looking gorgeous again (or at least as much as is possible for runners…)
